1、 做为一名在一线战斗多年的高中英语教师，笔者对高中英语作文命题原创的数量和质量很担忧。平时接触使用了大量的高中英语考试资料，其质量良莠不齐，其中存在的重要问题就是作文部分雷同甚至完全抄袭照搬现象严重，用我的一位很擅长英语考试的学生的话来说，我们出的英语作文命题都逃不出他的手掌，他都可当如来佛祖了。 为什么会出现该现象呢？其中重要原因就是“拿来主义”思想太重，缺乏创新。我们常常拿来一套试卷，复印好就给学生们使用了。这样做的最大好处是省力，但试题质量尤其是英语作文命题质量很难保证。我认为大家完全可以提前先亲自做完这套题，不理想的部分可以灵活撤换,尤其是作文部分.作文从原创者手头产生到你使用该题的时
2、间会有一定间隔，在内容和形式上经常会有陈旧过时嫌疑，我们完全可以撤换该部分。做到这一点要求老师具有良好的英语业务素质，尤其要有创新命题精神。当代中国正处在大发展、大变革、大调整的时期，创新是时代各行各业的主潮流，对于英语教育工作者而言,出一些有创新性的优质的英语命题作文也是一项基本的要求。 如何在高中英语命题中进行创新呢？首先我们谈谈内容方面的创新。社会存在决定社会文化意识，英语命题作文属于社会文化意识范畴，其必然是社会存在即当今社会所发生的事件尤其是最新最重大事件的自然反应。因此选择国内外发生的最新重大事件来做为我们创新作文命题的内容是必然选择。也许有人会问，按这一方法选完后,还有这么多事件
3、到底选哪些呢？不要忘记我们还有一个原则，那就是该题材内容还必须是高中生熟知的。综合起来再用心精选一遍，完全符合要求剩下能用的不会太多，这些就是我们用来创新命题的最佳内容。通过这样做能确保我们命题的内容是新的且在高中生的认知范围内，让其有一肚子话可写，甚至乐于来写。其次，再谈谈如何在形式方面进行创新？内容决定形式，有了最新的内容即国内外最新发生的大事，你的作文命题就具有清新的时代气息，但形式对内容具有反作用，有好的形式对命题创新最终顺利完成具有重大作用。当前有很多的英语命题作文普遍存在规定过死的通病，甚至有些完全是翻译题，不利于中等生和优等生的水平发挥,也不利于英语作文教改的进行,在命题形式上创
4、新势在必行。笔者建议从二个方面完成这项任务。其一，尽量多使用想象性发挥性作文，给不同英语水平的学生留下自由选择发挥的空间。本文后边有关网络红人冬奥会冠军周洋的命题作文，淋漓尽致地体现了这一要求；其二，从命题的角度进行创新。如有关世博会的命题，见过的资料中大多从志愿者角度来出题，本人重新收集整理材料，从举办世博的利与弊这一新角度来命题，效果也很不错。教师们在这方面还有一个顾虑，就是学生们能否顺利完成这类写作任务，答案是肯定的,而且这样做对提高英语语言综合运用能力具有重大意义。由于高中学生在英语学习方面有了一定的词汇积累、写作经验以及掌握了一些基本的语法规则，使他们已初步具备了将心中所思转化为英语
