5、根据事实进行分析。以第3 小题为例，“and the two children wereplaying games in the garden” 支持题干中的“The two childrenplayed some games”。问题的关键是，John 和Ann 的母亲是否是“busy”。短文中“Mrs White was cooking dinner in the kitchen”这句话总不能说Mrs White 是在玩吧？ 因此，通过逆向思维，我们可以判断Mrs White 是busy 的。答案就不言自明了。 4根据语境，进行逻辑推断。 阅读理解题中，有些题目很难一眼看出正确答案，尤其是类
6、似任务型阅读的题目，第5 小题便是如此。如何判断“sadly”的语义，关键要看我们能否根据语境进行逻辑推理。一个小女孩的玩具被他人搞坏了，她总不能开心吧？ 因此，“Ann answered sadly”中的“sadly”一词的意思不可能是“开心的”，答案应为F。遇到生词要会猜阅读中遇到生词，最好的方法是通过上下文猜测。以下几条建议可帮助你猜测词义：1.看看上下文中有没有生词的另一种说法，即找同义词。有时下文会对一个词做解释，或者提供一些暗示。2.看词性，判断其是名词、动词、形容词、副词或其他词类。3.分析生词的构成，尤其是词的前缀和后缀。英语中很多词都是加前缀和后缀而来的。比如根据前缀re-和
