【知识梳理1】
Although/though
E.g.Although/thoughheistired,hestillfinisheshisworkontime.
虽然他很累,但仍然按时完成了工作。

让步状语从句中不可再使用but等并列连词,但可以用yet,still等连接副词来加强语气。

(1)结果状语从句由so+adj./adv.…that/such+a/an+adj+n+that引导。
表示“如此……以至于…”
e.g.这位女子如此美以至于人人都爱她。

(2)结果状语从句和too……todo(太···而不能····)以enough+形容词/副词+todo(足够的···可以···)的转换。
1.so...that与enoughtodosth.转换。
例如:

HewassocleverthathecanunderstandwhatIsaid.→HewascleverenoughtounderstandwhatIsaid.
2.so...that与“enoughforsb.todosth.的替换。
例如:
ThequestionissoeasythatIcanworkitout.→Thequestioniseasyenoughformetoworkout.
Theboxissolightthathecancarryit.→Theboxislightenoughforhimtocarry.
3.so...that与too...to的替换。
例如:
Thegirlissoyoungthatshecan'tdressherself.→Thegirlistooyoungtodressherself.
IwassotiredthatIcouldn'tgoonwiththework.→Iwastootiredtogoonwiththework.
4.当that从句是否定时,如果要用“too...to...”替换“so...that...”,则用介词for引出动词不定式的逻辑主语,可以用“too...forsb.todosth.”来替换,注意不定式的宾语要省略。
