Isolatinglanguageisalanguageinwhicheachwordformconsiststypicallyofasinglemorpheme.ExamplesareClassicalChineseandVietnamese.Anisolatinglanguagetendsalsotobeananalyticlanguage.(孤立语往往也是分析性语言‘analyticlanguage’,孤立语的特点就是每一个词就是一个独立的词素,没有词尾变化)
