Duetedpropeller15acomPaetandinnovativeliftsystemforvertiealtakeoffandlanding(VTOL)aircraft.ModernduetedProPelleraircraftrequesteompaetlayout,highforwardflightsPeed,maneuverabilityandlownoiselevel,whiehresultinmore
seriousaerodynamieissues.ComParingwiththefixedwing,duetedProPellerflowfieldsaremoreeomPlex,includemainlythefollowingeharacteristics.Firstly,
theflowfieldsaretyPieallyunsteady,undertheforwardflighteondition,theairflowsPeedrelativetothebladesoftheadvaneingsideinereases,followingPhenomenons
oftransoniesPeedsuehasshoekwave,ontheotherside,therelativesPeeddeereases,theflowangle15eomParativelyhigh,usuallyleadtodynamiestall;Secondly,the
duetProPellerProdueesintensetiPvortex,whiehhoveraroundtheProPeller,andmakeastrongimPaetontheaerodynamiceharaeteristiesofflightaireraft.
Afterdozensofyears’develoPment,eomPutationalfluiddynamieshasreeeived
PraeticalaPPlicationinaviation,asaresultofthementionedeomPlexityaerodynamicsabove,itsaPPlieationtoduetProPeller15muehlessthanfixedwings.AlongwiththeeomPutertechnologydeveloPment,it’5Possiblenowtoresolvethe
threedimensionaltime一dePendentN一5equationsforcomPlexgeometry.Consideringviseosityeffeet,theN一5equationshavethePotentialtoaehieveaeeuratedeseriPtionoftheformationandtransPortationofvortex,whiehdon,tdePendonanywakemodel.DuetProPellerwakecanbeobtainedasaPartofsolution.
TheeffeetsofgridfingeometryParametersontheaerodynamieperformanceof
duetProPellerwerestudiedbymeansofeomPutationalfluiddynamies.Firstly,thesimulationdataofliftforeesarevalidatedbytheexPeriment;secondlyundertheworkingeonditionofProPeller,thesimulationmodelswithdifferentehords,attack
angles,webthieknessandloeationsoftheProPellerwereestablished.BasedontheanalysisofthesingleParameterinflueneeonduetProPeller,5aerodynamiePerformanee,weusethedesignoftestingmethodtoestablishtheaPProximationmodel;Finally,aProPeroPtimizationstrategywasusedtoobtainthemaximumlift
forceoftheduetProPeller.Themethodabouthowtoehoosethegridfin’5geometry
