2.2LINECHECK-SURVEY
Priortoconstruction,StructureListandPlanandProfileshallbefollowedintheverificationofanglesofdeflection,spanningandlegextensions,etc;duetothetree-ladensituationofthetransmissionline,andinordertoensuretheaccuracyofcheck-survey,GPS(GlobalPositioningSystem)willbeemployedforsuchpurpose.

2.5.1RequirementsforCement
2.5.1.1Cementqualityshallbeincompliancewiththelatestrequirements
oftheStandardSpecificationsforPortlandCement(ASTMC-150);
2.5.1.2Grand,APO,Unionshallbeoptionalsourcesforsubcontractorsto
choosecementmanufacturerfortheirapprovedqualityby
TRANSCO;
2.5.1.3Moisturizedandagglomeratedcementshallbeprohibitedfromany
useinfoundationworks;
2.5.1.4Cementpilingplaceshallbedryandventilative,storingperiod
shallnotexceed30calendardaysandcementoverlappingheight
shallbewithin14bags.
2.5.2RequirementsforCoarseAggregate(Gravel)
2.5.2.1Gravelshallconformtotherequirementsofthelatesteditionof
ASTMC33andshallconsistofhard,durableanduncoated
particleswhicharereasonablyfreefromthin,flatorelongated
particlesinallsizesandwellgraded.Thediametershouldconform
tocontinuousgrid.

2.5.4.2TherequirementsofACIshallbeapplied.
2.5.5RequirementsforReinforcingSteel
2.5.5.1Allreinforcingsteelshallcomplywithcriteriaspecifiedinthe
drawingandconformtotherequirementsofASTMA615Grade60;
2.5.5.2Surfaceofreinforcingsteelshallbefreefromdirt,impairment,
oilyfilthandpollution,andnosteelwithgrowth,defectsorlocal
rustingonitssurfaceshallbeusedinfoundationwork;
2.5.5.3Thereinforcingsteelshallnotbeplacedongrounddirectlywithout
anycushionbetweenthereinforcingsteelandtheground.
2.6FORMWORKING
2.6.1Stub-anglesettingcanbeundertakenonthebasisofasinglepit,and
formworkingandpouringcanbeexecutedpitbypitrespectively,orfourpits
undertakensimutaneously;
2.6.2Formworkdimensionsshallbecomputatedwithinthescopeofonepit;

2.7.3Priortopouring,thedepthofthepit,stub-angledimensions,and
specificationsandquantitiesofre-barsshallbeverified.
