First,agoodsupervisorcommunicateswell.Asupervisorgivesinstructionsanddirectionstohisorhersuperviseesastowhatworktodoandhowtodoit.Theninstructionsanddirectionsmustbeclearlycommunicatedsothattheycanbefollowed.Iftheyarenotclearlyformulatedandexplained,thesuperviseesmayfeelatalossatwhytheyhavetodosomethingandhowtodoit.(Iknowofsomebodywhogetsangryeasilywhenhisemployeesfailtofollowhisinstructions.However,heoftengivesvagueinstructionsandisunwillingtoclarifyhisrequirements,whichmakesitdifficultforhissuperviseestofollowhisinstructions.)Thus,agoodsupervisoriseffectiveincommunicatinghisorherinstructionsandiswillingtoclarifythingsforhisorhersupervisees.
