Thisideaispartofthereasonwhyexpertsonlearningstrategies,whicharewaystoimprovethelearningprocess,suggestusingmovements.Onelearningapproach,theCognitiveAcademicLanguageLearningApproach,orCALLA,callstheuseofmovements“UsingYourKinesthetic(动觉的)Sense”.

Sequoyah'sworkwasdifficultandtookhimalotoftime.Worse,thosearoundSequoyahdidn'tunderstandwhathewasdoingwithallthosestrangesymbols.Someraiseddoubtsabouthiswork.However,Sequoyahdidn'tstopworking.In1821,Sequoyahcompletedhisalphabet(字母表).EachsymbolinthealphabetsymbolizedoneoftheeightyfivesoundsintheCherokeelanguage.Bysayingthenameofeachsymbol,apersoncouldreadthespokenword.
Sequoyahtaughtthesymbolstohissixyearolddaughter,Ayoka.Oneday,theywenttovisittheeldersoftheCherokeeNation.SeqouyahaskedAyokatoleavewhilehewrotedownwhattheelderssaid.WhenAyokareturned,shereadoutloudwhatSequoyahhadwritten.Theelderswerestunned.Ayokawasabletorepeattheirwordswithoutbeingpresent!
