Ⅰ.will表“决定”的用法
will可以表示在说话时做出一个临时的决定,这个决定可以是提供帮助,也可以是描绘意图。

IthinkI’llgotoseethedoctor—Ihaveahighfever.
我想我要去看医生——我发高烧。
Ⅱ.状语从句
状语从句主要用来修饰主句或主句的谓语。
一般可分为九大类,分别表示时间、地点、原因、目的、结果、条件、让步、比较和方式。
一、时间状语从句
1.由when,while,as,after,before,till/until等引导的时间状语从句。
Itwillbefourdaysbeforetheycomeback.
他们要过四天才能回来。
2.名词短语引导的时间状语从句。
可以引导时间状语从句的名词短语有:
themoment,theminute,theinstant,eachtime,everytime,nexttime等。
Thechildrenranawayfromthegardenthemomenttheysawtheguard.
孩子们一见到看管人就从花园里跑开了。
3.由immediately,instantly,directly,assoonas,nosooner...than...,hardly/barely/scarcely...when...等引导的时间状语从句,表示“一……就……”。
nosooner...than...,hardly...when...引导的表示时间的句子,从句用一般过去时,主句用过去完成时。
当nosooner,hardly位于句首时,主句要用部分倒装。
Theyoungladyrushedintotheroomimmediatelysheheardthenoise.
那位年轻女士一听到响声就冲进了房间。
Hardlyhadhereachedhomewhenitbegantorain.
他刚到家,天就开始下雨了。
二、让步状语从句
1.由though,although,as,evenif,eventhough,while引导的让步状语从句。
(1)although引导的让步状语从句不倒装。
Althoughit’sraining,theyarestillworkinginthefield.虽然在下雨,但他们仍在地里干活。
(2)as引导让步状语从句时,从句的表语、状语或谓语中的实义动词需提前至句首,如果表语是带冠词的名词,冠词需要省略。
Fastas/thoughyouread,youcan’tfinishthebooksosoon.
纵然你读得快,你也不能这么快读完这本书。
(3)though引导的让步状语从句可以倒装也可以不倒装,倒装时用法同as。
此外though还可用作副词,常置于句末,意为“可是,不过,然而”。
2.由nomatterwhat/which/who/when/where或whatever,whichever,however等引导的让步状语从句。
Youhavetogoon,whatever/nomatterwhatdifficultiesyoumeet.
无论遇到什么困难你都得继续下去。
三、原因状语从句
1.常见的连接词:
because,since,as,seeingthat,now(that),inthat,consideringthat,forthereasonthat等。
Nowthatyou’rehere,whynothaveadrink?
既然你来了,为什么不喝一杯呢?
2.because,as,for,since辨析
(1)because语气最强,表示不知道的原因时用because,即说话人认为听话人不知道,因此because从句是全句最重要的部分,通常它被置于主句之后。
下列情况下只能使用because:
①在回答why的问句时;②在用于强调句型时;③被not所否定时。
Hewasabsentfromschoolbecausehewasill.
他没去上学,因为他病了。
(2)for的语气不及because,since,as强,为并列连词,引导的分句常放在主句之后,从句前通常用逗号,表示说话者为所做的推断和预测提供理由,或对前一分句进行补充和解释。
如果不是因果关系,而是对前面主句的内容加以解释或推断时,只能用for。
Weshouldbemorecareful,foritisalreadydark.
天已黑了,我们应更小心些。
(3)表示已经知道的原因时用as或since,即某种原因在说话人看来已经很明显,或已为听话人所熟悉,因此它是句中不太重要的部分。
since要比as正式一些,它们通常被置于主句之前,但有时却相反。
JennywasverysadoverthelossofthephotosshehadshotatCanada,asthiswasamemorysheespeciallytreasured.詹妮为她丢失的在加拿大拍摄的照片感到非常难过,因为这是她特别珍藏的一段记忆。
Sinceyouareleavingtomorrow,wecaneatdinnertogethertonight.
既然你明天动身,今晚我们可以共进晚餐。
四、结果状语从句
1.常见的连接词:
so...that...,such...that...,so(that)等。
Hedidn’tfinishhishomework,so(that)hewaspunished.他没能完成作业,因而受到了惩罚。
2.so...that...,such...that...辨析
(1)结构形式
such+
+that...
Therearesomanystarsintheuniversethatitisimpossibletocountthemall.
宇宙里星星多得数不清。
Hemadesuchanexcellentspeechthateveryoneadmiredhim.
他做了个如此精彩的演讲以至于每个人都崇拜他。
(2)当so或such置于句首时,主句用部分倒装。
Suchagoodboyishethatwealllovehim.
他是那么好的一个孩子,我们都喜欢他。
五、目的状语从句
1.常见的连接词:
sothat,inorderthat,forfearthat,incase等。
Takeanumbrellawithyouforfearthatitmayrain.
随身带着雨伞以防下雨。
2.sothat与inorderthat引导目的状语从句时,从句谓语动词常与can,could,may,might,should,would连用。
3.目的状语从句与不定式的转换:
当主句和从句的主语一致时,目的状语从句可以与inorderto,soasto或表目的的不定式转换。
Theyclimbedhighersothattheycouldgetabetterviewofthecity.
=Theyclimbedhighersoasto/inorderto/togetabetterviewofthecity.
他们攀登得高一些,以便更好地欣赏城市的景色。
