兰州大学简介

兰州大学创建于1909年,是教育部直属的全国重点综合性大学，是我国首批具有学士、硕士、博士学位授予权，首批建立博士后科研流动站的重点高校之一。

2001年，成为国家“985工程”重点支持建设世界一流大学和高水平大学的38所高校之一，同时也是国家面向21世纪集中办好的一百所大学之一。

学校现有81个本科专业，187个硕士学位授权专业，56个博士学位授权专业，7个博士学位授权一级学科，12个博士后科研流动站。

有6个国家级人才培养基地，2个国家级实验教学示范中心，2个部省级基础科学研究和教学人才培养基地。

美国《科学》周刊曾评出中国13所最杰出的大学，兰州大学位居第六。

IntroductiontoLanzhouUniversity

Foundedin1909andlocatedinLanzhou,thecapitalcityofGansuProvince,LanzhouUniversityisoneofthekeyuniversitiesdirectlyundertheadministrationoftheMinistryofEducation.ItisamongoneofthefirstuniversitiesentitledtoenrollBachelor,MasterandDoctoraldegreecandidatesandauthorizedtosetuppost-doctoralprogramsandnationalbasesfortheresearchingandteachinginthefundamentaldisciplines.

In1953,LanzhouUniversitywasselectedasthekeycomprehensiveuniversitybyChina’sMinistryofEducation,China.In2001,LanzhouUniversitywaslistedasoneofthetop38nationaluniversitiesstronglysupportedbythestategovernment.Itisoneofthetop100universitiesinthe“Facingthe21stCenturyEducationalDevelopmentProgram”whicharejointlysponsoredbythestategovernmentandthelocalprovince.

NowLanzhouUniversityoffers81bachelorprograms,187masterprograms,and56doctoralprograms,andhas6NationalBases,2provincial/ministeriallevelbasesforthetrainingandresearchingoftheteachingpersonnelforfundamentaldisciplines.ScienceMagazinerateditasthe6thofChina’stop13bestuniversities.

LanzhouUniversityisactiveindevelopinginternationaleducationexchangeandcooperationwithuniversitiesandorganizationsinmorethan30foreigncountriesincludingUSA,Japan,UK,France,Canada,Germany,Australia,Russia,Kazakhstan,Uzbekistan,andKyrgyzstan.

来华留学生本科生招生简章

一、招生学科、专业

凡我校具有学士学位授予权的学科专业，均可招收外国来华留学生接受本科学历教育。

具体招生专业请见兰州大学2008——2009学年中国政府奖学金来华留学生本科生招生专业目录。

二、全额政府奖学金的内容和标准

1、免交注册费、学费、实验费、实习费和校内住宿费。

2、提供生活费：

▲本科生：

RMB800元/月

3、新生来华后发给一次性安置补助费：

▲RMB600元/人

4、提供部分门诊医疗费：

学生在学校医院或学校指定的医院就医的日常门诊费用，按学校有关规定，学校承担一定比例的费用，学生自行支付剩余部分。

5、提供一次性城市间交通费。

新生入学时由入境口岸至学校所在城市的一次性火车硬座（卧）车票。

途中伙食费用及行李超重（行李标准为20公斤）费用自理。

三、学习方式和学习年限

1、学习方式为全日制；

2、授课语言为汉语；

3、学习年限一般为4年（如需汉语补习，学习年限为5-6年）。

四、申请资格

1、申请人须为非中国籍公民，持有效外国护照，身体健康，品行端正，遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度；

2、申请人必须具有高中毕业学历，成绩优秀，年龄不超过25周岁；

3、申请文科类各专业者要求通过HSK6级，申请理科类各专业者要求通过HSK4级。

五、提交申请材料

申请人必须如实填写和提交以下申请材料（均为一式两份）：

1、《兰州大学外国留学生申请表》，用中文或英文按要求填写，并贴照片。

2、《中国政府奖学金申请表》（请从网站

3、经过公证的最高学历证明。

如果是除中文或英文以外的其它语言文本，则需提交该文本的中文或英文译文，并且进行公证。

4、申请人如果是在校学生或在职工作人员，需提交本人就读学校或工作单位出具的在学证明或在职证明。

如果是除中文或英文以外的其它语言文本，则需提交该文本的中文或英文译文，并且进行公证。

5、提供经公证的高中成绩单，如果是除中文或英文以外的其它语言文本，则需提交该文本的中文或英文译文，并且进行公证。

6、来华学习或研究计划。

不少于200字，用中文或英文书写。

7、申请学习音乐专业的学生须提交本人作品的光盘；申请学习美术专业的学生，须提供本人作品光盘（2张素描画，2张色彩画，2张其它作品）。

8、年龄不满18周岁的申请人，须提交在华法定监护人的相关法律文件。

9、提交《外国人体格检查记录》（请从网站

10、八张护照尺寸照片。

六、申请时间

DetailsoftheScholarship

1.Qualifyingstudentisexemptfromregistrationfee,tuitionfee,feeforlaboratoryexperiment,feeforinternship,feeforbasiclearningmaterialsandintramuralaccommodation.

2.Monthlylivingallowanceispaidtothestudentsfromthedateofregistrationatthefollowingrates（CNYyuanpermonth）:

-Undergraduates:

CNY800yuan

3.Aone-offsettlementsubsidyafterregistration

-CNY600yuan

4.StudentwillbeexemptfrompartofthefeeforoutpatientmedicalservicesgeneratedintheLanzhouUniversityhospitalorthehospitalsappointedbyLanzhouUniversity.InternationalstudentswillbeexpectedtopayacertainpercentageofthoseexpensesinaccordancewithLanzhouUniversity’srelevantregulations.

5.Aone-off,roundtripinter-citytravelticket（forcoming-inandleavingChina）.InternationalstudentsshouldchoosethenearestporttoLanzhouforinter-citytravelandahard-seattrainticket（hard-berthtrainticketforovernighttrip）willbeprovidedtofreshmentransferringfromtheportofentrytoLanzhou.Otherexpensesforfoodduringthetriporexcessbaggage（max:

20kg）arethestudents’ownresponsibility

Detailsofstudies

1.Weonlyofferfull-timeprogramsforapplicants.

2.Forundergraduates,thedurationofmajorstudiesis4years,andthedurationcanbeextendedto6yearsifremedialChineselanguagestudiesareneeded.

3.AccordingtotheregulationsoftheMinistryofEducationofChina,allChinesescholarshipundergraduatestudentswillbeconductedinChinese.ApplicantswithnocommandofChinesearegenerallyrequiredtotakeChineselanguagecoursesfor1-2yearsbeforetheirmajorstudies.

Eligibility

1.Applicantsmustbenon-Chinesenationalsingoodhealth.ApplicantsmustholdvalidpassportsandwillobserveallthelawsofChinaaswellastherulesandregulationsofLanzhouUniversity.

2.Applicantsmusthavecompletedseniorhighschoolwithgoodgradeandbeundertheageof25.

3.ApplicantsforstudyingasundergraduatesinnaturalsciencemajorsshouldhaveavalidHSKband-4certificate,whileapplicantsforstudyingasundergraduatesinhumanityandsocialsciencemajorsshouldhaveavalidHSKband-6certificate.

2．ApplicationFormforChineseGovernmentScholarship

（downloadfromoneoriginalandonephotocopy,inChineseorinEnglish.

3．Highestdiploma（notarizedphotocopy）.DocumentsinlanguagesotherthanChineseorEnglishmustbeattachedwithtranslationsinChineseorEnglish.

4．Proofofstudentstatusorcurrentemployer’sintroductoryletterifapplicantsareuniversitystudentsorcurrentlyemployed.DocumentsinlanguagesotherthanChineseorEnglishmustbeattachedwithtranslationsinChineseorEnglish.

5．Notarizedcopyofseniorhighschooltranscripts.DocumentsinlanguagesotherthanChineseorEnglishmustbeattachedwithtranslationsinChineseorEnglish.

6．AstudyorresearchplaninChineseorinEnglish（nolessthan200wordsforundergraduates）.

7．Applicantsformusicarerequestedtosubmitonecassetterecordingoftheapplicants’ownwork.Applicantsforfineartsmustsubmitsixcolorphotographsoftheirpersonalwork（twosketches,twocolorpaintingsandtwootherworks）.

8．Applicantsundertheageof18shouldsubmitthelegaldocumentsoftheirlegalguardiansinChina.

9．Foreigner’sPhysicalExaminationForm
