教学设计说明
Aboutthetopicandthestructures
单元话题和结构
本单元的话题是Poems/诗歌,介绍了几首英语小诗及诗歌创作的基本常识。
本单元句法项目依然是“虚拟语气
(2)”。
教师应当清楚:
诗是一种文学体裁,其按照一定的音节、声调和韵律的要求,用凝练的语言、充沛的情感以及丰富的现象来高度集中的表现社会生活和人的精神世界。
在中国古代,不合乐的称为诗,合乐的成为歌。
教学设计在单元课时划分上与课本保持一致,即“阅读课、知识课、运用课三课时/三课型划分”。
但在实际教学过程中,我们建议教师依据学生基础、教学条件、学校安排的因素,对课本、对教学设计重新划分课时、裁剪、拼接使用我们提供的材料,以便“物尽所用”,达到最佳教学效果。
教师也可以参照我们提出的“实际教学过程课时划分建议”进行教学。

阅读课
WarmingUp可以选择Warmingupbyrecitingpoems,Warmingupbysharinginformation或者Warmingupbybrainstormingforreasonswhypeoplewritepoems,为阅读做心理的铺垫和准备。
可以向学生补充“诗歌的分类”:
按内容的性质可分为叙事诗和抒情诗;按语言组合有无格律,可分为格律诗和自由诗;按是否押韵,可分为有韵诗和无韵诗。
Pre-reading以LearningaboutEnglishpoetsandtheirpoems形式进行读前活动,为其后的阅读做心理的铺垫和准备。
Reading“几首英文小诗”是篇说明文,简要说明了英语诗歌的形式和意境。
教师应当引导学生从形式和内容两方面阅读本文,提高对说明文文体的认识,同时了解英语诗歌的一般常识。
教师应当向学生讲明白:
诗歌语言最精炼,语汇最丰富,表达形式最精美,语言的色调最细腻;如果对诗歌有一定修养,其语言表达能力会大大提高;想一个学汉语的人,如果对唐诗宋词一无所知,其汉语水平不会很高;学英语者也是如此;如果他对莎士比亚、弥尔顿、华兹华斯、拜伦、雪莱、济慈等人的著名诗篇一窍不通,其英文水平也不会很高。

知识课
Learningaboutlanguage第一部分是词法训练,强化学生对本单元重点词汇、短语的掌握和实用;第二部分是句法训练,讲解在第一单元已基本完成,本单元主要通过练习进一步巩固强化学生对英语“虚拟语气”的理解和运用。

Usinglanguage
运用课
Usinglanguage首先Warmingupbylearningaboutrhythm,然后是围绕诗歌“I’vesavedthesummer”,步骤如下:
Readingandcircling,Readingandunderlining,Listeninganddiscussing,WritingapoemthatstartswithWhatif和Writingpoemsaboutfeelings。
结课可以是readingoutapoem。
实际教学过程课时划分建议
Period1
将WarmingUp、Pre-reading、Reading和Comprehending整合在一起上一节“阅读课”。
Period2
将Learningaboutlanguage和Workbook中的USINGWORDSANDEXPRESSIONS、USINGSTRUCTURES整合在一起上一节“语言知识课”。
Period3
将Usinglanguage设计为一节包括听说读写单项技能或组合技能训练的“综合技能课
(一)”。
Period4
将Workbook的READINGANDLISTENING和TALKING整合在一起上一节“听说课”。
Period5
将Workbook的LISTENINGTASK、READINGANDWRITINGTASK和SPEAKINGTASK整合为一节“综合技能课
(二)”。
