1.复习可数名词和不可数名词
注意以下几点:
(1)以–o结尾的名词有两种复数形式,多数加-es,如:
tomato---tomatoes,hero---heroes,potato---potatoes,
末尾为两个元音字母的词只加-s,如:
bamboo—bamboos,zoo---zoos,studio---studios,stereo---stereos
某些外来词加-s,如:
photo---photos,kilo---kilos,solo---solos
(2)以f或fe结尾的词多变为f为v再加es,如:
wife–wives,half---havles,thief---thieves,
wolf---wolves,life---lives
但也有加s
cliff—cliffs,chief---chiefs
(3)不规则变化的名词,如:
foot—feet,mouse---mice,goose---geese
policeman---policemen,grandchild---grandchildren,
(4)形式不变
oneChinese—twoChinese,onedeer—twodeer,oneaircraft---twoaircraft
(5)合名词构成复数时只变主体名词,如:
grown-up----grown-ups,brother-in-law---brothers-in-law,
editor-in–chief----editors-in-chief
(6)有些名词既可以作可数名词,也可以作不可数名词
