特殊疑问句

一、特殊的疑问词。

特殊疑问句要由疑问代词或疑问副词开头，询问的内容不同,使用的疑问词也不同。

我们学过的疑问词有what（询问事物）,howmuch（询问价格）,whattime（询问时间，尤其是点钟）,whatkindof（询问种类）,why（询问原因），who（询问人）,where（询问地点）等等。

如：

这是什么？

—It'sakey.这是一把钥匙。

这个多少钱？

—It'stwentydollars.二十美元。

你喜欢哪一类型的电影？

二、特殊的语序。

特殊疑问句由疑问词开头，其构成是“疑问词+一般疑问句”。

如：

Whattimeisit？

现在几点钟？

Whoisyourteacher?

谁是你的老师？

三、特殊的答语。

特殊疑问句不能用yes,no来回答，而应根据它所询问的内容直接做出回答才行。

如：

1.—Whattimeisit,please?

请问几点了？

—_____________7:

30.七点半了。

2.—Wherearethey?

他们在哪儿？

—___________intheplayground.他们在操场上。

3.—What'syourfavoritesubject?

你最喜爱的科目是什么？

四、特殊的语调。

一般情况下，特殊疑问句要用降调（↘）来读。

如：

Who's↘that?

1.who谁问人的身份，姓名等（问主语）

六、易混淆的特殊疑问词

1.注意which和what所指的范围不同。

what所指的范围是无限的，而which则指在一定的范围内，例如：

Whichgirlsdoyoulikebest?

你喜欢哪几个姑娘？

Whatgirlsdoyoulikebest?

你喜欢什么样的姑娘？

2.who和whom都是代词人。

Whom是who的宾格，在口语中作宾语时，可用who代替，但在介词后只能用whom,例如：

Who（m）didyoumeetonthestreet?

你在街上遇到了谁？

Who（m）areyoutakingthebookto?

你要把这书带给谁？

3.when和whattime都是问时间。

但是when对具体时间提出疑问，如inthemorning,lastSunday等，；whattime则是具体几点钟提问。

4.howmany和howmuch都是问的数量。

但是howmany+可数名词复数，而howmuch+不可数名词，再者howmuch还可以问价格。

询问价格。

“Howmuch...？

”或“Howmuch...cost?

”与“What'sthepriceof...？

”效果一样。

例如：

Howmuchisthecomputer?

=Howmuchdoesthecomputercost?

=What'sthepriceofthecomputer?

这台电脑的价格是多少？

七、注意特殊用法

1.询问天气。

“How+be+theweather...？

”=“What+be+theweatherlike...？

”

例如：

Howistheweathertoday?

=What'stheweatherliketoday?

今天天气如何？

2．问职业（三种问法，以you为例）

Whatdoyoudo?

或What’syourjob?

或Whatareyou?

3.对人口的提问,

What'sthepopulationof...？

”=“Howlargeisthepopulationof...？

”

例如：

What'sthepopulationoftheworld?

=Howlargeisthepopulationoftheworld?

世界人口是多少？

What'sthepopulationofGermany?

德国的人口有多少？

population表示“人口”是一集体名词，

havepopulationof表示“有多少人口”。

例如：

Ourvillagehaspopulationoftwohundredofpeople.

我们村有二百人口。

4.某人或某物怎么了

例句：

Ihavegotacold.

What’swrongwithyou?

或What’sthematterwithyou?

5.问重量、长度、高度、宽度、深度、速度、面积等。

“How+形容词+...？

”与“What'sthe+名词+of...？

”意思相同。

例如：

Howheavyisthatbasketofapples?

=What'stheweightofthatbasketofapples?

那筐苹果有多重？

注意：

与what句式转换时，how后的形容词heavy,wide,high,tall,deep,long,fast,large等，须分别转换成对应的名词：

weight,width,height,depth,length,speed,size等。

其中Howtallareyou?

与What'syourheight?

可以互换。
