1.了解英语在世界上的发展状况,认识各种各样带有民族、地域特色的英语;对英式英语和美式英语的差异有所了解,了解一些常用词汇,如lift和elevator,rubber和eraser,petrol和gas,apartment和flat等‘
2.掌握基本的单词、短语及其用法。
如:
atpresent,makeuseof,identity,expression,recognize,playapart等。
3.掌握祈使句及直接引语和间接引语的表达法。
二、过程与方法.:
1.本单元通过对“世界英语”这一话题的探讨,以加强学生对英语语言的了解,对当代语言特别是英语的发展趋势的了解。
在教授本单元时必须强调美国英语、澳大利亚英语、印度英语等都有各自的规律和惯用法。
2.提防学生滥用英语词汇,随意违反英语语法规则,不顾正常发音、语调等。
3.在教师的指导下,积极参与活动并完成学习任务。
4.通过小组合作探究学习,培养协调能力和合作精神。

1.了解英式英语和美式英语的区别。
2.给学生布置以下任务:
通过pairwork2所学的英美英语的不同之处根据实际生活和想象编一段对话。
