Aims:
1)帮助学生尽快适应大学英语教学模式、要求、特点和方法。
从一开始就培养学生良好的语言学习习惯和独立自主的学习方法,树立良好的学风,要求学生积极参与英语课堂教学活动和实践活动,营造良好的英语学习氛围,调动学生英语学习的积极性。
2)巩固语法知识,扩大学生词汇量,加强阅读及阅读技能训练。
重视听说能力的培养以及初步的写作及做课堂笔记的能力。
3)通过教师监督和学生分组相互检查的方式督促学生保证每天有半小时至一小时的听力训练,为听力的提高奠定基础。
4)通过快速阅读训练提高学生的阅读速度,督促学生完成泛读文章,扩大阅读量。
