Ifambientlevelsofemissionsexceedtheappropriatelimit,thefollowingstepsweretakentoassurecompliance.First,themeasurementbandwidthwasreduced,ifthisdidnotaffectthepeakreadings.Suchareductioncanallowmuchcloserexaminationofemissionsclosetolocalambientsignals.Second,theantennacouldbebroughtclosertotheEUT.Finally,inseverecases,testingwasreperformedatnightorothertimeswhentheoffendingsignalwasofftheair.Themeasurementsweremadeatnominalroomtemperature(25oC±10oC).

4.Thetestwasperformedwithaverticalgroundreferenceplane.TherearoftheEUTshallbe0.4mfromtheverticalgroundreferenceplane.Theverticalgroundreferenceplanewasbondedtothehorizontalgroundreferenceplane.TheLISN1wasplaced0.8mfromtheboundaryoftheunitundertestandbondedtoagroundreferenceplaneforLISNsmountedontopofthegroundreferenceplane.ThisdistancewasbetweentheclosestpointsoftheLISN1andtheEUT.AllotherunitsoftheEUTandassociatedequipmentwasatleast0.8mfromtheLISN2.
