SafetyConcept
ThesafetyfunctionsoftheCPU315FarecontainedintheCPU’sF-programandinthefail-safesignalmodules.Thefail-safemodulescanbeusedinthedistributedIOsystemsET200MandET200S.
Thefail-safesignalmodulesmonitoroutputandinputsignalswithdiscrepancyanalysesandtestsignalinjections.
TheCPUchecksthecorrectoperationofthecontrollerthroughperiodicselftests,instructiontests,aswellaslogicalandtime-relatedprogramexecutionchecks.Inaddition,theIOischeckedbylifesignsbeingrequested.
Ifanerrorisdiagnosedinthesystem,thesystemistakentoasafemode.Nof_runtimelicenseisrequiredforrunningtheCPU315F.
Inadditiontothefail-safemodules,standardmodulescanalsobeused.
Thismakesitpossibletosetupafullyintegratedcontrolsystemforaplantinwhichstandardareasexistinadditiontothesafety-orientedareas.
Theentireplantisconfiguredandprogrammedwiththesamestandardtools.
Programming
TheCPU315FisprogrammedlikeotherSIMATICS7systems.Theuserprogramforplantcomponentsthatarenotfail-safeisgeneratedwiththeprovenprogrammingtoolsofSTEP7.
Forprogrammingthesafety-orientedprograms,thesoftwarepackage“S7DistributedSafetyV5.4”isindispensable.Itcontainsalltheelementsyouneedforengineering.
TheCPU315FisprogrammedwiththeSTEP7languagesF-LADandF-FBD.Here,thefollowingsafetyfunctionscanbeimplemented,forexample:
·Userprogrammablesafecombinationofsensorsandactuators
·Selectivelyandsafelyswitchingoffactuators
Thefunctionalityregardingoperationsanddatatypesislimited.
Throughaspecialinputduringcompilation,asafety-oriented,passwordprotectedprogramisgenerated.Inadditiontothefault-tolerantprogram,astandardprogramcanalsorunparallel(coexistence)onaCPUthatisnotsubjecttorestrictions.
AnadditionalpartofthissoftwarepackageistheF-librarywiththepre-preparedprogramexamplesforsafety-orientedfunctions,approvedbytheTÜV(GermanTechnicalInspectorate).Theusercanchangethesefunctions,buttheyhavetoberecertified.
OptionPackageS7DistributedSafety
ThepackagecontainsallrequiredfunctionsandblocksforgeneratinganF-program.For"S7DistributedSafetyV5.4“torun,STEP7startingwithV5.3+SP3hastobeloadedtothePG/PC.
TheF-programwiththesafetyfunctionsiswiredinF-FBDorF-LAD,orwithspecialfunctionblocksfromtheF-library.UsingF-FBDorF-LADsimplifiesconfiguringandprogrammingthesystem;and,becauseofthesystem-overreaching,uniformrepresentation,theacceptanceinspectionissimplifiedalso.Theprogrammercanconcentratecompletelyonconfiguringthesafety-orientedapplication,withouthavingtouseadditionaltools.
