【辨析】
cure表示治愈的结果
treat表示治疗的过程

【辨析】

(四)难点语法复习
在必修五中,我们学习了中学语法中最难的语法项目之一,即过去分词。
过去分词是高中英语学习的重点和难点,也是高考的考点,其用法灵活,高考试卷中对过去分词的考查出现在单项填空、完形填空、短文改错等诸多题型中,下面我们结合高考中的单项填空题来重温过去分词的用法。
一)过去分词作定语
高考真题回顾:

过去分词作定语具有以下特点:
(1)及物动词的过去分词作前置定语具有被动和完成之意。少数不及物动词的过去分词作前置定语只表示完成。例如:
abrokencup一只打破的杯子(及物动词,表被动兼有完成之意)
therisensun已升起的太阳(不及物动词,仅表完成)
(2)过去分词作后置定语时,相当于省略了(that/which/whobe)的定语从句。

(1)及物动词的过去分词作表语,与句子主语之间是被动关系,既表被动,又表完成。例如:

(2)不及物动词的过去分词作表语,与句子主语之间是主动关系,表示主语的状态。只表示动作的完成,而无被动之意。例如:
Heisretired.他已退休。
(3)许多过去分词已形容词化,表示主语的性状和特征。例如:
excited,surprised,pleased等。

动词后面的宾语和补足语一起构成复合宾语,过去分词作宾语补足语时的常见句式有:
(1)使役动词或感官动词(have,make,see,hear,watch,notice,feel等)+宾语+过去分词。
(2)某些动词(keep,leave,get,find等)+宾语+过去分词。例如:
WhenIcameintotheclassroom,Ifounditcleaned.当我走进教室时,我发现教室已被打扫干净。
(3)介词with+宾语+过去分词。例如:

过去分词作状语时具有以下特点:
(1)过去分词作状语表示被动或完成,有时既表被动又表完成。
(2)过去分词作状语时,其逻辑主语与句子的主语一致。此时,要分析过去分词与句子主语之间是否有逻辑上的主谓关系。
(3)过去分词作状语可扩展成状语从句。
(4)作状语的过去分词前可加上适当的连词,如:
when,while,until,if,once等,这实际上是过去分词在省略句中的运用。
