Ofcourse,calciumisimportantforhealthybonesandteeth,butyourgenes,howmuchvitaminDyoutakeinandgettinganhour’sworthofexerciseeverydayallplayapart.
Somenutritionistsdisagreewiththeideathatmilkisn’timportant.KeriGans,adietitian,says,“Ithinkit’sirresponsibletotakeawaythisbeveragethatchildrenenjoy,especiallyamongthosewhoareunabletomeettheirnutrientneedsfortheday,andremoveitfromthelunchline.”
