TheSilentLanguage(1959),astudyofnonverbalcommunication,andTheHiddenDimension(1966),astudyof“socialandpersonalspaceandman’sperceptionofit.”Thepresenttext,aselectionfromTheHiddenDimension,givesacontrastbetweenEnglishandAmericanconceptsofpersonalspace.
