Asmytrainwasnotduetoleaveforanotherhour,Ihadplentyoftimetospare.Afterbuyingsomemagazinestoreadonthejourney,ImademywaytotheluggageofficetocollecttheheavysuitcaseIhadlefttherethreedaysbefore.Therewereonlyafewpeoplewaiting,and1tookoutmywallettofindthereceiptformycase.ThereceiptdidnotseemtobewhereIhadleftit.Iemptiedthecontentsofthewallet,andrailwaytickets,money,scraps*ofpaper,andphotographstumbled*outofit;butnomatterhowhard1searched,thereceiptwasnowheretobefound.
Whenmyturncame,Iexplainedthesituationsorrowfullytotheassistant.Themanlookedatmesuspiciouslyasiftosaythathehadheardthistypeofstorymanytimesandaskedmetodescribethecase.Itoldhimthatitwasanold,brown-lookingobjectnodifferentfromthemanycasesIcouldseeontheshelves.
