TheNEO-M8seriesofstandaloneconcurrentGNSSmodulesisbuiltontheexceptionalperformanceoftheu-bloxM8GNSS(GPS,GLONASS,Galileo,BeiDou,QZSSandSBAS)engineintheindustryprovenNEOformfactor.
TheNEO-M8seriesprovideshighsensitivityandminimalacquisitiontimeswhilemaintaininglowsystempower.TheNEO-M8Misoptimizedforcostsensitiveapplications,whileNEO-M8NprovidesbestperformanceandeasierRFintegration.TheNEOformfactorallowseasymigrationfrompreviousNEOgenerations.SophisticatedRF-architectureandinterferencesuppressionensuremaximumperformanceeveninGNSS-hostileenvironments.
TheNEO-M8seriescombinesahighlevelofrobustnessandintegrationcapabilitywithflexibleconnectivityoptions.Thefuture-proofNEO-M8NincludesaninternalFlashthatallowssimplefirmwareupgradesforsupportingadditionalGNSSsystems.ThismakesNEO-M8perfectlysuitedtoindustrialandautomotiveapplications.
TheDDC(l2Ccompatible)interfaceprovidesconnectivityandenablessynergieswiththemostofu-bloxSARA,LEONandLISAwirelessmodules.ForRFoptimizationtheNEO-M8N/M8Qfeaturesanadditionalfront-endLNAforeasierantennaintegrationandafront-endSAWfilterforinc「eased」ammingimmunity.
u-bloxM8modulesuseGNSSchipsqualifiedaccordingtoAEC-Q100,aremanufacturedinISO/TS16949certifiedsites,andfullytestedonasystemlevel.QualificationtestsareperformedasstipulatedintheISO16750standard:
“Roadvehicles-Environmentalconditionsandtestingforelectricalandelectronicequipment”.
u-blox'AssistNowAssistancesupplyaidinginformation,suchasephemeris,almanac,roughlastpositionandtime,reducethetimetofirstfixsignificantlyandimprovetheacquisitionsensitivity.AssistNowdataarewithu-bloxM8supportingbothGPSandGLONASSconstellationforfasteracquisitionthanaGPS-onlyassistance.TheextendedvalidityofAssistNowOfflinedata(upto35days)andAssistNowAutonomousdata(upto6days)providefasteracquisitionafterlongofftime.
