impactthewayprojectmanagersdotheirwork,similartotheimpactofcomputers.
TheadvantagesofmanagingprojectsviatheInternetarenumerous,primarilyin
savingtimeandincreasingefficiency.Informationcanbedistributedmorerapidly
togeographicallydispersedowners,designers,contractors,andsuppliers.Correspondence,drawings,andphotographscanbepostedonproject-specificInternet
sitesandcatalogedforeasyaccess.Keyteammemberscanmonitordataexchange,
whichgreatlyreducesturnaroundtimefordecisionmaking.Forexample,usingtraditionalmethodsitmaytakeanhourjusttoprocessarequestforinformation(RF'I)
