①作定语
形容词用于修饰名词或代词one,ones,作定语,位于名词或代词之前

I want some large ones.我想要些大的。
②作表语
形容词放在系动词(be/look/feel/sound等)后,作表语,构成系表结构,即“连系动词+表语”,说明主语是什么或怎么样,即说明主语的特性。
