Module6TheTangPoems
I.教学内容分析
本模块以“中国鼎盛时期的诗歌”为话题,通过介绍唐诗、唐朝诗人以及英文诗歌,使学生对诗歌和一些著名的诗人以及中国诗歌和英文诗歌的异同有所了解,并学会通过口笔头两种形式介绍一位中国诗人。
Introduction部分通过阅读英译唐诗《送友人》和回答几个问题,使学生了解诗歌,引起学生兴趣,为整个模块的学习奠定基础。
ReadingAndVocabulary
(1)部分通过阅读TheGoldenAgeofChinesePoetry,让学生学习相关词汇,学会归纳文章的主旨大意,分析文章的结构和写作技巧,并围绕课文内容进行听说读写的各种训练。
Grammar
(1)部分通过分析课文中的一些句子,使学生复习并掌握can、must、may、might等表推测时常见的用法。
ListeningandSpeaking部分通过听取四段采访对话,来获取有关信息,完成回答练习。
这一部分还通过阅读两首英文短诗,培养学生理解和表达能力。
EverydayEnglish部分通过听力中出现的具体的语言环境,学习日常交际用语offthetopofmyhead,byheart,onsecondthought等用法。
Grammar
(2)部分通过分析一些句子的含义来复习情态动词should、could、would的用法,旨在使学生对常用的情态动词有个全面的了解。
ReadingAndWriting
(2)部分通过阅读ThePowerofPoetry,让学生学习相关词汇,了解诗歌的作用,分析文章结构和写作技巧,并根据所学内容,尝试用英语写一首短诗。
这一部分主要训练学生的听说读写的能力。
ReadingPractice部分通过学习PoemsontheUnderground,让学生掌握相关词汇,通过训练阅读技巧和方法,使学生能够准确获取文章信息和进行深层次的理解。
CulturalCorner部分以“英文诗歌的鼎盛时期”为话题,目的是使学生了解西方诗歌的鼎盛时期的诗歌情况,学习了解西方文化。
Task部分是对本模块的一个复习及运用。
要求学生通过收集资料,利用本模块所学词汇介绍一位中国诗人。
ModuleFile部分为本模块词汇及语法的总结归纳,可帮助学生回顾本模块的相关内容,提高学生归纳、总结和自我检测的能力,并在此基础上帮助学生提高自学能力。

(1)学习与诗歌有关的词汇;
(2)复习掌握和正确运用情态动词的用法;
(3)学习口、笔头介绍一位诗人的生活时代、生活经历等。
2.教学难点
(1)听懂与诗歌有关的内容,听懂对现在和过去情况表示推测的常见表达;
(2)阅读中能使别新学词汇、短语,并根据语境推测其含义;
(3)正确运用情态动词表推测的用法。
