LakhaniregisteredEco-SoapBankshortlyafterwards.Soon,hereceivedenoughfundstohiredisadvantagedCambodianwomentocollectandreproducetheusedsoap.
Today,theorganizationhasfourrecyclingcentersacrossthecountry,providingjobsto35localwomen.Andsofar,some174,000barsofsoaphavebeendonated,about24,000poundsofsoaphasbeenrecycled,andhygiene(卫生)hasbeenimprovedforabout661,000people.“Wearekillingthreebirdswithonestone,”Lakhanisaid.
