TheTibetanantelopeislistedintheIUCN(国际自然与自然资源保护联合会)RedListasathreatened(有灭绝危险的)species.Severalnaturereservesweresetupbythecentralgovernmenttoprotecttheseantelopes.Eachyear,TibetanantelopesmovetothenorthernareawithacoolerclimateandrichwaterandgrassresourcestolambinJune~JulyandreturnwiththeirchildreninAugust.TheQinghai-TibetRailwayliesrightintheirpath.InJune,2002,inordertoletsome30,000futuremotherantelopespasstheconstruction(建设)sitewithoutdisturbance(扰乱,打扰),theworkersshutdowntheirma-
chinesandpulleddowntheirsignboardsandsignflags.Theystoppedworkingforfourdaystomakewayforthem.InAugust,whentheseTibetanantelopesreturnedwiththeirchildren,theystoppedworkingonceagain.Moreover(而且,此外),thebuildersdidtheirbesttoreducenoiseinareasclosetonaturereserves.
Sofar,thenumberofTibetanantelopesinChinahasclimbedtoover80,000.
