Grammarofanykindisusuallytheleastinterestingtopicforstudents.Studentshaven’tdevelopedthehabitoflearningindependently.Instead,theyareusedtorelyingonteachers’instructionsalot.

Thisteachingperiodmainlydealswiththegrammar:
modalverbs——theuseofcan,could,may,might,will,would,shall,should,must,andcan’t.Abstractandboringasthemodalverbsare,weshouldtrytomakestudentslearntheminaneasyandeffectiveway.
