1.purpose
ThisprocedureisprovidedtoguidetheroundnessrepairworkforfluegaslineandductinME1inDungQuatrefineryproject.
Theprimaryobjectiveshallbeconformedinfullwiththeprojectspecificationandensurethatallqualityandsafetyrequirementiscompliedwithaccordingly.

Thisproceduredescribesthesiteactivitiesofrepairingroundnessworkforfluegaslineandduct.thedetaillineandductlistasfollowing:

5.1.3TOOLSETTING
DirectionofreformingjigshallbesettheshortDiameterasperattachedsketch.
ReformingstiffenershallbesettoinsideofductcasingplatewithTackwelding.
TackweldingshallbeappliedonlyCenterofReformingStiffeneraspertheSketch.
WeldingLengthshallbekeptaround50mm.
5.1.4Reformingworkforfluegaslineandduct
Beforerepairingwork,theductspool’sroundnessshouldbecheckedwithTPC’ssiteengineers,andrecordingthespoolroundnessdatum.
BeforesettingofReformingtoolstoinsideofduct,trueringofductshouldbecutted,weldingjointsbetweenductbodyandtureringshouldbegrinded.
AftersettingofReformingtoolstoinsideofduct,jackshouldbeusedforextendeddirectionaspersketch.
Finally,GapbetweenDuctcasingandReformingStiffenerwillbedisappeared.
OutsideofReformingstiffenerwillbetouchtotheDuctinsidesurfacewhenbothendsofreformingstiffenershallbeweldedtotheductcasing.
AlsoLongdiametersideshallbeweldedwithotherReformingstiffenerafterreformedworks.
4-ReformingstiffenersweldedtotheinsideofductwhenReformingguidepipeandjackshallberemovedfromduct,areinsteadedofsupportpipes.
Finally,checktheroundnessofthespoolductwithTPC’ssiteengineers,andrecordthespoolroundnessdatum.
Aftercasingforfluegaslineandduct,removethesupportpipesandstiffenerplates.
5.2.REFORMINGWORKFORFLUEGASLINE&DUCT(ELBOWSPOOL)

5.2.3Reformingmethodasbelowsketch:
5.2.4Reformingworkforelbowspoolforfluegaslineandduct
Beforerepairingwork,theductspool’sroundnessshouldbecheckedwithTPC’ssiteengineers,andrecordingthespoolroundnessdatum.
BeforesettingofReformingwedgestooutsideofduct,trueringofductshouldbeweldedbetweensupportplateandturering.
AftersettingofReformingwedgestooutsideofduct.thehammershouldbeusedforreducingdirection.
Finally,theelbowspoolwillbecomeround.thentackweldingjointsbetweenwedgeandtruering.aftercasingforfluegaslineandduct,removewedgesbygringdingmachine.
5.3checkandreceive
5.3.1Beforestarttoreforming,allfluegaslineandductspools‘sroundnessshouldbecheckedbyTPC’ssiteengineers,andrecordedbyTCC.Iftheroundnessisoutoftolerance,thespoolsshouldberepaired.
5.3.2Theroundnesstoleranceis±5mm。
NOTE:
IFTHESPOOLCIRCLEGIRTHISOUTOFTOLERANCE,ITISSUGGESTEDTHATTPCTOREFUSETORECEIVETHESPOOL,BECAUSEITISDIFFICULTTOREFORMINGASPERALLOWTOLERANCEBYTCC。
5.3.3Whenthespoolswhichneedtoreforminginthewater,thespoolsshallbeliftoutofthewaterbycrane.
5.3.4Whenthespoolswhichthearrangementplaceisnotsuitforreformingshallberot
