Cookingeducationprogrammes,suchasFoodExplorers,teachchildrenaboutnewhealthyfoodsandhowtopreparethem.Theyalsostresstheimportanceofeatingfivekindsoffruitandvegetableseveryday.Avolunteerparentexplainsanewfoodtothegroup,andthekidsmakesomethingbasedonthelesson,suchasfruitorvegetablesalad.Dependingontheprogramme,kidsmaybesenthomewithinformationabouthealthyfoodstobringtotheirparents,thereviewexplained.
