“Themajorityofchildrenaremissinganopportunitytoincreasedailyphysicalactivity,”Martinsaidinapreparedstatement.AccordingtotheCDC,nearlyoneinfive(18.8percent)childrenbetween6and11yearsoldareoverweight.IncreaseddailyphysicalactivityisoneofthemethodstheCDCgivestohelpdealwiththeproblemamongchildren.
