Abstract:
Toenablethestructuralbesafeandsuitable,economic,andreasonableisastructuralengineer’staskandresponsibility.Accordingtolong-termworkexperience,tointroducetheprinciplesofearthquake-resistantdesign,seismicperformancemeasurestoimprovehousingfromtheviewpointofconceptualdesign.Introducetheenvironmentalcategoriesandthedeterminationofthethicknessofprotectivelayer,thecalculationoffreesupportedbeamsettingsandtheotherissueswithengineeringpractice.
1.ConceptualDesignandStructure,
Inearthquake-resistantdesign,therearemanyfactorsaffecttheseismicabilityofthewholestructure.Suchas:
Thecarryingcapacityanddeformationcapacityofstructuralelements,thematerialpropertiesandtheprovisionofenergyreservesofnon-structuralelements;theconnectionstructure;structuralstability;theanti-destructivepowerofthestructure’soverallperformanceundertheactionofexperiencingforthefirsttimeearthquakeandrepeatedtheroleofaftershocks.Atpresent,onlythefirstfactorcouldbecalculated,otherfactorscouldnotbe.Onlythroughtheconceptualdesignandstructuresothatstructuralsystemcanachievethenecessarybearingcapacity,stiffness,stability,theabilityofenergyabsorptionanddissipation,thatis,sufficientductility.Ofcomplexstructure,One-thirdcalculation,sevenpartsconstructed,moreimportantly,istheconceptualdesign.
(1)TheConceptualDesign
Materialproperties,componentperformance,connectionstructure,structuralsystems,canbetestedthroughexperimentsandpractice,butcannotbecalculated,isknownasconceptualdesign.Seismicdesignshouldbeguidedbythefollowingprinciples:
(1)Thebearingcapacity,stiffness,qualityofstructureshouldbesymmetrically,uniformly,continuouslyarrangedalongtheplaneandheighttoavoidthestressconcentration;
(2)Shouldsetupmulti-channelseismiclineofdefense,arrangestaticallyindeterminatestructureandhigherductilitycomponents,payattentiontostrengtheningthestaticallydeterminatestructure,thekeypartsandtheweaknessesappropriately;(3)Payattentiontostructuralintegrityoftheconnection,thesamestructuralunitshouldbefirmlyconnectedwhilethedifferentstructuralunitsshouldcomplywiththerequirementsofthecompleteseparation;(4)Estimationandcontrolofplastichingeoccursextentandlocation,arrangethestructuretargetedandcontroltheprocessyieldandfinalyieldformationmechanismofthestructure;(5)Toachievestrongcolumnweak-beamandstrongshearweakbending;(6)Takeeffectivemeasurestopreventthebrittlefailuresuchasprematureshearbreakofconcrete,anchorage-sideslidingofsteelandconcretecrushingetc;(7)Thebearingcapacityandstiffnessoftheconnectednotesshouldbecompatiblewiththestructure,andthebearingcapacityshouldnotlessthanthestructure’s;(8)Theindiscriminateincreaseinsteelconsumptionshouldbeavoided,ifthedesignbearingofapartistoolargeortoolittlemayresultintherelativelyweakofstructure,theexcessiveuseofthebendingsteelofbeamend,columnendandthestrengtheningpartsofsharewallshouldbereducedwhentheycanmeettherequirementsofbearingandconstruction;(9)Considerthebeneficialandadverseeffectsofnon-structuralcomponentsonthemainstructure.
(2)StructureConstruction
Structuresystemsrelyonmechanicalcalculationtoensurethebearingcapacityanddeformation,whiledependonconstructionmeasurestoconnectthestructureelementsandformasystem.Reasonableconstructionscanensureaclearloadtransferofcomponents,guaranteetheabsorptionanddissipationofenergyunderrepeatedactionofforce;avoidthelossofcarryingcapacityandanti-seismiccapacityoftheentirestructuralsystemcausedbythedestructionofsomeelements;ensurethedurabilityduringdesignlife.Wecansaythatconstructionisastructuralconcreteofconceptualdesign.Wehaveacompletestructuralconstructionmeasuresforthepilotstudythroughseveraldecadesofpractice,especiallyafterlearningtheexperiencesandlessonsofTangshanearthquake.Therecognizeisconstantlyimproved,theconceptualdesigniscontinuouslydeveloped,,wenotonlyneedtotakeproperuseofthecurrentmeasuresforstructuraldesignandconstruction,butalsoneedtoconstantlysumup,enrichandimproveourability.
2.Structuralcalculation
