9.Tofulfillthisurgentobligation,theneededisnotonlynational,butalsoglobal.Today'sstudentsmustbeinformedaboutpeopleandculturestheirown.Sincemanhasorbitedintospace,ithasbecomedramaticallyapparentthatweareallofasingleplanet.Inthepasthalfcentury,ourplanethasbecomevastlyIfstudentsdonotseebeyondthemselvesandbetterunderstandtheirplaceinourcomplexworld,theircapacitytoloveresponsiblywillbedangerouslydiminished.
