Afterthefairtheridewasmovedtoanearbyamusementparkbuiltespeciallytoshowoffthewheel.In1904itwasmovedagain—thistimetoSt.LouisfortheLouisianaPurchaseExposition.AfterthefairinSt.Louisclosed,thewheelstoodunused.In1906itwasfinallysoldtoapanyforscrap(废弃材料)metal.Ittook200poundsofdynamitetobringitdown.
