Metalmachiningknowledge
1Mechanicalprocessingsystem
Fromthewholeprocessofmechanicalmanufacturing,themostbasiccomponentsofmachinepart,alsoisthefirsttoproducequalifiedparts,andthenassembledintocomponents,againfromzero,partsassemblyintomachine,therefore,manufacturedtomeettherequirementsofthevariouspartsofprocessingmachineryismainpurpose,andinthevastmajorityofmaterialmachiningisametalmaterial,sothemachiningismainlytoavarietyofmetalcutting.
Partsofthesurfaceisusuallyseveralsimplesurfacesuchasplane,cylindricalsurface,conicalsurface,formingsurfaceandspherical,combination,andthesurfaceofthepartisthroughavarietyofmachiningmethod,inwhichthemetalcuttingmachinetoolwiththeworkpieceandtoolcoordinationrelativemovementofresectionofpartmachiningsurplusmaterials,accesstoinshape,sizeandsurfacequalityarecompatiblewiththerequirementsofthisprocessiscalledthemetalcuttingprocessing.
Metalcuttingprocessing,oftenaspartofthefinalprocessingmethod,itneedstousemetalcuttingtoolstoprocessparts,betweenthemtodeterminetherelativemotionandbeargreatcuttingforce,usuallyinthemetalcuttingmachinetoolforprocessing,partsandtoolsrequiredbymachinetoolfixtureandtoolandmachinetoolforreliableconnectiontheydotherelativemotion,drive,realizethecuttingprocess,themetalcuttingmachinetool,cuttingtool,fixtureandworkpiecemachiningclosedsystemcalledmechanicalprocessingsystem,themetalcuttingmachinetoolprocessingmachinerypartsmechanicalwork,supportingandprovidingdynamicaction;cuttingtooldirectactionofpartsmachining;machinetoolfixtureusedonpartspositioningandclamping,thecorrectpositionofprocessing.Thechapteronmachiningprocesssystemfourpartisanalyzed,themechanicalpartsoftheprocessingofthewholeprocess.
2Cuttingmotionandparameters
2.1Cuttingmovement
Metalcuttingprocessing,workpiecemachiningprocessisprocessedobjectingeneral,anyoneoftheworkpiecearecomposedofroughprocessingtofinishedproductprocess,inthisprocess,tomakethetoolontheworkpiecemachiningtoformvarioussurfaces,mustmakethetoolandworkpiecerelativemotionisgenerated,thisinmetalcuttingprocessingmustberelativemotionisknownasthecuttingmovement.Tolatheprocessingoutercylindricalsurfaceasanexample,Figure2-1showsaturningmovement,cuttinglayerandformedontheworkpiecesurface.

Cuttingmotioncanbedividedintothemainmovementandfeedmovementofthetwokind.
(1)Mainmovement
Mainmovementistheremovaloftheunnecessarymetallayer,formingthenewsurfacenecessaryforthemovement,itisthemostbasic,cuttingthemainmotion,itisusuallythehighestspeed,consumptionofmachinetoolpowermost,suchasturning,boringmachiningworkpieceturning,millinganddrillingprocessingcutterrotarymotion,planingisplaninglinearmotion.
(2)Feedmotion
Feedmovementistobecuttingmetallayerintermittentorcontinuousinputofcuttingamovement,withthemainmovementcoordinationcanbecontinuouslyremovedmetallayer,toobtainthedesiredsurface.Feedmotionischaracterizedbylowspeed,lowpowerconsumption,canbecomposedofoneormoreexercise.Figure2-1inexcircleturningalongtheaxialdirectionofthelongitudinalfeedmotioniscontinuous,radiallyalongtheworkpiecetransversefeedingmotion,itisintermittent.
(3)Layercutting
Cuttinglayerreferstocuttingcuttingworkpiecetoasinglestroketheresectionoftheworkpiecemateriallayer.ShowninFigure2-1,theworkpiecerotatesacirclebacktotheoriginallevel,becausethetoollongitudinalfeedmotioniscontinuous,thecuttingtoolfromthepositionIhadmovedtopositionII,inthetwopositionoftheformedworkpiecemateriallayer(FigureABCDregion)iscuttinglayer.
(4)Thecuttingprocessisformedontheworkpiecesurface
Theworkpieceinthecuttingprocessintheformationofthethreesurfaces:
oneofthesurfacestobeprocessedisreferstotheworkpiecetobecutawaythesurfacefigureexternalcircularsurface1;thetransitionsurfaceistheworkpiececuttingedgesarecuttingsurface,asshowninthefigure2surface;surfacereferstotheworkpiecebythecuttingprocessaftertheformationofthethesurfaceofexternalcircularsurface,asshowninfigure3.
2.2Cutting
Betweenthetoolandtheworkpiecewithrelativemovementcanbecutting,usedtomeasurethemovementofcuttingsizeparametercalledthecuttingparameters,cuttingspeed,feedrateanddepth(depth)calledthecuttingelementsofthethree.Itisonlyreasonabletodeterminetheamountofcuttingcanbecarriedoutsmoothlycutting.

3Cuttingtoolbasicknowledge
Intheprocessofmetalcutting,cuttingworkisdonedirectlytool,andthecuttingtoolisfitforcuttingwork,mainlybycuttingpartofthetoolgeometryandcuttingtoolmaterialsreasonablephysical,mechanicalproperties.
3.1Cuttingpartofthetoolstructuralelements
Cuttingtooltypearemany,variedstructure.Lathetool,planerisasingle-pointcuttingtool,andthedrillbit,cutter,cutter,althoughtheydifferinshape,buttheyarecuttingpartofthestructuralelementsandgeometryhavemanyfeaturesincommon,soacorrectunderstandingandunderstandingasingle-pointcuttingtoolistherecognitionandunderstandingofknifewithfoundation.
AsshowninFigure3-1,toolcomprisesaknifebody(clampingpart)andthecutterhead(cutting).Theknifebodyisusedtothetoolclamponlathetoolholder,supportingandforcetransmissioneffect,thecutterheadtocuttingwork.Toolcuttingpart(alsoknownasthecutterhead)bytherakeface,theflank,minorflank,themaincuttingedge,asecondarycuttingedgeandtip.

3.2Toolgeometricangle
(1)Toolanglereferencecoordinatesystem
Theangleofcuttingtoolistodeterminethecuttingpartofthetoolgeometryparameters,todeterminetheangleofcuttingtool,mustdeterminefordefinitionsandregulationsangleofvariousreferenceplane,consistingofvariousreferencecoordinatesystem,outsideroundtoolasanexampleintheproductionpracticeofthemostcommonlyusedcoordinatesareorthogonalplanereferencecoordinatesystem,asinFigure3-3inthreemainplanarcomposition:
