众所周知，改革后的新四级对于阅读有了新的要求，这集中体现在命题形式上——快速阅读、仔细阅读和简答题已经被提到了日程上。

所以考生就要在短期内，着重在阅读的这三个方向上下下功夫。

具体的做法是这样的：

找一些与四级水平相当的陌生的英文材料，首先是在一定的时间内，在无辅助工具的前提下快速浏览，了解其大意，掌握一下自己对其了解的粗略程度；然后再仔细的精读（当然还是不要借助任何辅助工具），分析一下细读之后，文章大意和大的论述方向有没有改动，一些细节的地方有没有记住阐述了几个方面，分别用来证明何种观点，以此来训练自己阅读时的注意力集中情况，避免“回读”的现象发生。

遇到生词不要轻易使用工具书以求甚解，而要先根据上下文语境判断其词性，猜测其含义。

这样经过反复的训练，你和英语文章就会建立一种“亲切感”，拿来任何一种文章，你都会知道从何入手了。

听力

听力的分值和难度加强了，在短期内想提高听力恐怕是有些困难的。

考生可以在以下方面做出努力：

语感的建立。

教材附的听力材料是一个绝佳的选择，考生可以每天固定花一些时间去听。

基础稍薄弱一点的同学，最好参照教材的原文，而程度稍好点的同学可以脱离原文而进行泛听，偶遇听不懂的地方再翻书进行查阅。

无论是参照原文与否，这样做的目的就在于熟悉各个不同大词、小词的发音方法。

在临近考试的日子里，可以进一步选择预测题和真题来测试一下。

这个为备考而听的材料是比较接近于真正的四级听力考试材料的，因此，在做这一部分题的时候，考生不仅要核准自己的答案，而且更关键的是：

重新把听力原文听一遍！

直到将所有语句一字不落的听清、听懂为止。

写作

写作向来是比较难啃的骨头，也是中国四级考生普遍头痛之所在。

然而，它本身命题的主观性，则使它在另一个方面赢得了优势：

短期可塑性，换句话说，即使考生对这个考试项目比较陌生，我们仍然可以在短时间内迅速了解写作，并掌握其中比较重要的要领。

具体的复习计划可以是这样：

一、首先寻找手边可获得的任何关于写作方面的辅导材料，找出上面对四级写作的具体规定，比方说时间、字数、段落、命题范围等等；

二、就一些基础的方面做一些准备：

去看一下材料上的高分句式，如表示概括的句型，总述的句型，转折的句型，表示个人观点的句型分别有哪些；

三、就其中的范文，找到相应的常规表达法（比如各种社会现象的说法、精彩的固定搭配等等）；

四、由于写作考试不是让你去判断对错，而是用自己的真实语言去写有条理、有逻辑的文章，因此找到上述句型和表达法不是目的，关键是要能把他们背下来，最好是能成段的背（但是不要成篇）；

五、最后，运用自己的旧知识和新知识，按照四级作文实际的要求模拟写作文，然后拿给老师或有经验的同学批改；如此反复，即使先前对四级写作干脆没有概念，你也可以至少做到心中有数，不至于在考场中过于慌乱。

综合

综合项目总体说来，削弱了先前考试中对于语法项目的考察，而强调了考生对英语语言的应用能力。

所以，考生要摆正心态：

这里面绝不会考较大较难的语法点，而是小的基础的语法点。

因此大家要将注意力转移到基础语法上，即保证那些笔答的主观小题不犯语法错误。

由于改错这种题型对考生的语法以及辨别能力要求比较高，所以基础语法这一知识点显得尤为重要。

办法有：

可以做一些真题，并且尽量将综合题的各种零星的小题型做全。

注意其中介词、冠词和部分其它形容词、副词、动词的常规用法。

无论在考前准备任何考试项目，时间的把握都是十分重要的。
