SECmatrixsetupmodeismeantforcreatingandeditingprojects.Certainproceduresaretobefollowedforcreatingaproject.Thisdocumentgivesstepbystepideaabouthowtocreateaprojectandtopicsincludedare,

2LoginProcedure

LoginprocedureisthefirststepafteropeningtheSECMATRIXsoftware.Softwarepermits

Bydefault,softwareisshippedwithAdministratorIDandpassword.ItisthedutyoftheadministratortocreateuserIDandpasswordforotherlevelsofoperatorsatthetimeofSECMATRIXsetup.Privilegesprovidedforeachaccessinglevelaredifferent（Refersection“Operatorcreationandprivileges”）.

Thesedefaultnameandpasswordareeditablebutcannotbedeletedfromdatabase.

Loginwindowisasshownbelow.EntertheuserIDandpasswordforlogin.

Theuserwillbeidentifiedwithrespecttotheirlogin.FromtheloginIDwecanidentifywhatkindofoperatorhasloggedin.（administrator,orOperator-Level-1,orOperator-Level-2orOperator-Level-3orguest）.UserwithAdministratorlevelcanenterintoproject“setup”modeor“live/play”backmode.Otheroperatorscanenteronlytothemodeallottedbytheadministrator.DependingontheprivilegeLive,SetupORplaybuttonsarehighlightedasshownbelowForexampleiftheoperatorisadministratorallthesectionswillbehighlightedasshownbelow.

3InitialProjectSetup

3.1NewProject

Asaninitialstepofaprojectcreation,allresourcesdata–detailsofbuilding,floors,areas,BQservers,andexpansionmodules–havetobesubmittedinaspecificorder.Followingtopicsandbriefexplanationwillhelptodothis.

∙LoadingB-mapfilesoffloor.

∙Placingdevices（icons）fromthelibrarytotheB-map

∙Lockingthemtothepositionfixed.

Projectnaming

Thisisthefirststepintheprojectcreationandisjustgivingasuitablenameforproject.

AddingBQserverandexpansionmodules

DetailsofBQ-serversandexpansionmodulesthataretobeusedintheprojectshouldberegisteredhere.

（TotalnumberofBQ-serversthatcanbeusedinaprojectis8.HereitisgiventhatBQserverIDisfixedinthelist.CommunicationinthenetworkisdonebyBQIDandsoitisrequiredtokeeptheIDfixed.）

Addingbuilding

Nextstepintheprojectcreationistheadditionofbuildingdetails.Graphicalrepresentationofbuildingwithasuitablenameandiconisdonehere.Buildingimagetoocanbeattached.Therecanbemultiplebuildingsinaproject.

Addingfloorsandmapselection

Therecanhavemanyfloors,inabuilding.Eachfloorshouldhaveafloormap（dxf,dwg,jpeg,andbmpformat）associated.Onfloormapwecreateareasandplacedeviceicons.

Areacreation

Areaclassificationoffloormapofthebuildingmakesmonitoringandcontrollingofbuildingcomponentseasyandmoreflexible.Secmatrixsupportssquaresandrectanglesasareashapes.

BQserveradditiontoarea

AreaisalogicalclassificationofbuildingmapanddevicesplacedintheareaareresourcesofBQ-servers.SoBQ-server（s）thataretobeusedineachareashouldberegisteredintheapplication.

ItispossibletohavemultipleareasunderoneBQ-server.Thatmeans,ResourcesofoneBQ-servercanbesharedformanyareas.ButitisnotpossibletohavemultipleBQserversunderonearea.

Anoperatorwith‘administrator’privilegeonlycanenterintosetupmode.Setupoptionwillbedisabledforotherlevelsofoperators.

Afterloginas‘administrator’,selectbuttontoenterintosetupmode.NewB-mapscreenisasshownbelow.

CreateNewprojectusing“Createnewproject’’buttonshownbelow.

Selectionof‘createproject’optionwillbringanewwindowasshown.

Enterprojectnamehere.Thisisthefirststepintheprojectcreationandisjustgivingasuitablenameforproject.Projectnameisnoteditableone.Resourcetreeviewlistwilldisplaytheprojectnameasthebasicentityasshown.

3.2AddBuilding

Nextstepintheprojectcreationistheadditionofbuildingdetails.Graphicalrepresentationofbuildingwithasuitablenameandiconisdonehere.Therecanbemultiplebuildingsinaproject.

Use‘Addbuilding’optionfromtherightclickmenuofprojectnameasshown.

Maximumof32buildingscanbeaddedunderaproject.

Theselectedbuildingwillappearintreeviewwindowasshownbelow

Otheroptionsavailableintherightclickcontextmenuofthebuildingare,‘delete’createdbuilding,‘rename’thebuildingnameand‘edit’thepropertyofthebuilding.Attachmentofbuildingphotoalsopossibleforbetterunderstandingusingtheoption“Addbuildingimage”.

3.3AddBQserverDetails

DetailsofBQ-serversandexpansionmodulesthataretobeusedintheprojectshouldberegisteredhere.

（TotalnumberofBQ-serversthatcanbeusedinaprojectis8.HereitisgiventhatBQserverIDisfixedinthelist.CommunicationinthenetworkisdonebyBQIDandsoitisrequiredtokeeptheIDfixed.）

SelectionofBQserverIDandTypeisdoneinthiswindow.ExpansionmodulesrequiredundereachBQserveralsoenteredhere.

3.4CreateFloor

Therecanhavemanyfloors,inabuilding.Eachfloorshouldhaveafloormap（dxf,dwg,jpeg,andbmpformat）associated.Onfloormapwecreateareasandplacedeviceicons.

Rightclickonthe‘buildingname’andselect‘addfloor’option.

Newlyaddedfloorwillbeappearedasshown.

Maximumof32floorscanbeaddedinaproject.

Alsoaddamapofbuildingusingtheoption“AddBuildingimage”.

Afteraddingafloorunderabuilding,selectsuitablemapforthefloorusingoption‘Addfloormap’fromtherightclickmenuoffloorname（treeviewlist）

Otheroptionsare‘Delete’floor,‘Rename’alreadycreatedfloor,’editfloormap’etc.

3.5CreateArea

Areaclassificationoffloormapofthebuildingmakesmonitoringandcontrollingofbuildingcomponentseasyandmoreflexible.Secmatrixsupportssquaresandrectanglesasareashapes.

RightclickontheFlooriconbringsamenuasshownbelow.Select‘Addarea’.

Createdareacomesunderfloorintreeviewlistasshownbelow.

Sametimeanareaboxisdisplayedonthefloormap（mainwindow）.

Changetheareatodesiredsize（expandableinrectangleshape）anddragittothedesiredlocationonthefloormap.

Thezoomedversionoftheselectedareaisshowninthemainareawindow.
