Peoplebecomesoheavilydependentoncomputersthatitishardtoimaginethelifewithoutcomputers.Therefore,somepeopleareworriedthat“Therealdangerisnotthatthecomputerwillthinklikeman,butmanwillthinklikethecomputer.”
Theirconcerndoesmakesense.Indeed,somepeoplespendsuchalongtimeworkingoncomputersthattheyhavefewinteractionswithpeopleinreallife.Accordingtoaresearch,toomanyhoursinfrontofacomputermayleadtoapokerfaceandinterpersonalisolation.Thisfactshouldarouseourattention,becauseunlikecomputers,humanbeingsaresocialcreaturesthatneedemotionalconnectionswithothers.
Yet,itisalsounnecessaryforustobeoverwhelmedbythenegativeimpactsofcomputers.Afterall,wehumansareintelligentandwillbeabletofigureoutbetterwaystomakeimprovements.
