Forthoseofyouwhohavebeenfollowingthisstory,thethirdsuspect(嫌疑犯)intheCanadianCatMutilation(残害)casehasbeencaught. Twoofthesuspects,recognizedas21-year-oldJesseChamplainPowerand24-year-oldAnthonyRyanWennekers,werearrestedshortlyaftertheincident. Neitherhelpedthepoliceinanefforttofindthethirdsuspect,atthetimeknownonlyas “Matt.”
InMay2002,Katiesetupthe “FindMattCampaign”,withthegoalsofraisingpublicawarenessaboutanimalcrueltyandhavingasmanyeyesaspossiblelookforMatt.
“Idon’tthinkMattwouldhavebeencaughthaditnotbeenforKatieWoodward’sinformation,” saidDetectiveGordonScott,oneofthearrestingofficers.
