Abstract

Realityisnotemergedinrecentyears,butinrecentyearstofillanewformofTVprograms.EitherfromtheperspectiveofthenumberofprogramsortheaudienceratingsreflectsandithasbecomeamainstreamformofTVprograms.Realityatthesametime,theprogramconceptalsoformanyotherconfigurationbringsnewelementsandTVskills,frequentlyappearontelevisionatpresentallkindsoftalentshow,educationalprograms,athleticprograms,grandprix,etc.,areactuallyinreality,techniquesandconsciousness.Inthissense,arealitytelevisioneraseemstobecoming.

1998U.S.companiessuchasParamountco-productions,launchedacauseenthusiasticreactionfilm"theTrumanShow"（theTrumanShow）.TheheroofthemovieTrumanjustliketheEnglishmeaningofhisname,isarealperson,buthislifeisashow,ashowatthesametime.Startingfromthedateofbirth,inhislifeinevery365daysayear,24hoursofeveryday,everyhourofthe60minutes,everyminuteofeverydaylifeareubiquitouscamerasrecordedaccordingto thefacts,andbroadcastlivetothewholeworld.Andchumdoorthathewaswatchinglivecompletelydon'tknow,heunconsciouslylifewasarrangedinablueskywhiteclouds,windandrainlightning,family,schoolandsociety'shugestudio,becameacelebrityinonlyhedidnotknow.Inhislifeforalmostthirtyyearslater,hewasaccidentallyfoundhimselfhadbeenlivingforloveinaprogram,aubiquitouslies,hehasalwaysbeenaplayingactor.Finally,understoodfromtheprogramsof Trumandesperate,herushedoutoftheblindthirtyyearsofthevirtualworld.

Thefilmwithawayoftragicomicmetaphorhumanstodayaresurroundedbymedia,eveninthemediumofthevirtualrealityofsurvival.Thestoryofthe

Hollywoodfilm,however,areactuallybecomeareality.Nownotonlyhasappearedontelevisionalotofallkindsofreality,evenGermanyRTLZtelevisionlatertriedtodirectlyto"theTrumanshow"ideasintoareality.Infact,sincetheendoflastcentury,realityTVtidehasbeenrisingandspreadingacrosstheglobe,continuouslyshowwillberealityonthescreen,lettheaudiencetowatch,peep,consumptionandentertainment.Realityhasgraduallydeduceforworldwidetelevisionculturespectaclethatnotsallowtoignore.

RealityTVshowstopresentaprairiefireimmediatelyafter2000."Bigbrother"withintwoyearsaftertheriseoftheNetherlands,inEuropeandtheUnitedStateshad18versionsindifferentcountries;“Survivor"broadcastofthesecondweek,thatis,tobecomeAmerica'sratingsforthefirstshow,CBShita13-yearviewingwonders.Theratingsfromthebottomofthefourmajortelevisionnetworksleapin2000toptentitleoftelevisionprograms;AtticstorysetinFrance.Surprisingly,programwithanaverageaudienceof5.2million,inmostoftheM6televisionviewers:

inAfrica,morethan30millionoftheaudiencetowatchthe"AfricanbigbrotherandmakeitbecomeAfricaoneofthemostpopularTVshowsinhistory.

Realityshowglamourattractedmanyeyeballs,makerealityTVentertainmentprogramstobebestowedfavoronnewly.Thiskindofprograms,nowriters,butundertheelaboratedesignofproducers,theplotisoftensurprising,dangerous.Becausealloftheprogramparticipantsarenotactors,notplay,everythingallwanttotemporary,realityandplotamoreopenandvivid,fullofaccident,allkindsofpossibilities,allkindsofresults.Viewerscanlikeplayinggameswiththeparticipantscanguessevenwhenruledbywatchingthem,towardstheendofthestorytogether.RealityinthisunscripteddramashowsandTVplaydifferentcharm.

2ReadtherealityTVshow

ABBCdocumentaryfilmmakerAlex,Holmeswillsrealitytelevisionasconstructiontypedocumentary.Documentarydevelopmenttothepresent,hethought,andisnolongeradull,preachingandlackofimagination,aftergoingthroughaseriesofchanges,therearesomenewprogramform.ItprovesthatinreallifepeopletotheaudiencecanalsolikeasoapoperaandtheroleintheTVdetectivemagic.He
