Butpeoplekilledmanymountainlionsinordertoprotectthedeer.Soonthereweresomanydeerthattheyateupallthewildroses.Thenthedeerbegantoeatthegreenleavesofyoungtrees.Thesetreeswereimportanttothefarmers.Sothefarmersthoughtofwaystoprotecttheirtrees.Nowthedeerhadnothingtoeat,andmanyofthemdied.Thiswasanotherlessonfromnature.
