第一章完形填空
命题特点:
完形填空是考查学生综合语言运用能力的典型测试方式,要求学生从语篇层次上把握语言材料,在阅读理解的基础上进行逻辑推理,综合运用所学语言知识。
一般来说,完形填空题主要考查以下几个方面的知识与技能:
1、对于文章上下文的理解和把握能力;
2、对于词汇意义及其用法的理解和运用能力;
3、根据生活常识进行推理和判断的能力;
4、对惯用法和常用搭配的掌握程度。
现在通行的完形填空命题,基础是按照命题人的考查意图,有目的地删掉一些单词,留下空白之处,要求学生从所给四个选项中选择最佳答案还原。
完形填空篇幅一般在200字左右,设空10个,文章第一句不设空。
绝大部分是记叙文,有一部分说明文和议论文。
题材多为幽默故事,有时会涉及英美文化、环保、校园生活等。
例题解析
完形填空综合了语言知识、阅读理解、逻辑思维等各方面的内容,试题更加重了语言知识的应用性,突出对能力的考查。
要想做好完形填空题,不仅使填空后的语句合乎语法罗辑,而且保证全文意思连贯,结构完整,同学们在答题时有必要遵循以下步骤:
一、通读全文,了解大意
通读全文,理解文章大意是做好完形填空题的前提,也是减少做题盲目性的必要步骤。
它对解析命题中的逻辑推理、上下文及情景语境方面的内容将起着决定性的作用。
每篇文章总有一定的主要思想,段落之间承上启下、前后呼应,句与句之间紧密相连,形成一个有机的整体。
因此通读全文时要一气呵成,不要中断思路,对有些不理解的细节可以跳过。
另外,在阅读时要特别注意文章的开头和结尾,因为这些句子一般不设题留空,给答题人提供必要的背景信息和文章结论。
二、仔细推敲,初定答案
在通读全文、了解大意的基础上,便可着手答题。
答题时要根据文章的内容要求,结合文章的主题,综合运用所学的词汇和语法知识,对每个空白处所给的四个选项进行认真分析,反复推敲。
学生应充分调动自己大脑中的信息资料库,如词语意义及用法、词语搭配和习惯用法、逻辑推理和生活常识等,从而初步确定答案。
三、再次通读全文,锁定最佳答案
这一步是在完成以上步骤后,检查确信自己所做题目正确性的一次检阅。
它实际上是又一次的浏览快读。
这次阅读就是调整、修改、完善自己的做题过程。
因为,在紧张的答题过程中,会有一些我们一时无法确定而暂时搁置的题,或者在这次阅读中发现有误的题。
最后一次通读全文,就会尽量保证我们完形的短文语法正确,语义合理,篇章完整。
下面,我们以2010年济宁中考完形填空试题为例,从几个方面来解析完形填空的解题技巧。
在做整篇完形填空之前,先做几道单项填空题:

从上题可以看出,2010年完形填空阅读量为162词(不含选项),相比往年已有较大降低。
多年来济宁中考完形填空各小题四个备选项的词性相同,一些动词、名词、形容词的选项采用同样的词形变化形式。
这样传递的信息就是该试题逐步趋向于考查学生对整篇文段的理解和把握能力,基本不考查学生语法等基础知识的掌握情况。
如:
学生不必考虑备选项答案的单词书写是否正确,词形、词性是否恰当等因素,只有正确把握全篇文段的大意,联系上下文意进行推理、判断才能正确作答。
10个选项中主要是针对名词、动词等实词的考查,另外每年还都有一两个对连词的考查题,主要考查学生对行文逻辑及上下文句段之间关联的理解能力。
除此之外,有些试题考查的是生活常识,或者社会热点问题,引导学生热爱生活,关注社会。
这类试题需要根据人们的生活经历和体验、感受来选择恰当的答案。
