WhenIsteppedonthegroundofPairsforthefirsttime,Iwasextremelyhappyandexcited.Igatheredmybagsandjoinedthecrowofpeoplewaitingforfriendsandfamily.IquicklyhadmyfirstexperiencetryingtocommunicateinalanguagethatIhadonlypracticedinschool.AsIlefttheairport,IlookedforfamiliarmonumentsIhadreadabout,butthelandscapelookedveryordinary.Then,withonesharpturn,theEiffelTowercameintoview,andIwasfinallyinPairs.
