1.Warmingupbyhavingadictation
Tobeginwith,let’stakeadictationtostrengthenourmemoryofthetext.
LarryBelmontworkedforacompanythatmakerobot.RecentlyarobotthatcoulddohouseworkwouldbetestedoutLarry'slife,Clair,forthreeweeks.Clairfeltalarmedbytherobot'shumanlyappearance.Beforelongshebegantotrusthim.Shetoldhimthatsheandherhomewerenotelegantenoughforherhusbandandsheenviedtherichandpowerfulwoman.Therobotdecidedtoprotectherfrombeingharm.Hegaveheranewhaircutandchangedhermakeupandaskedhertobuysomethingtodecorateherhome.BeforethenighthewastoleaveClair,theyheldaparty.TheguestswereimpressedbyClairandherhome,especiallybythehandsomerobot,whomtheythoughtwasherhusband.Claireknewthisisalmostadreamandshefeltverysad.However,thecompanywasverysatisfiedwithTony,therobotalthoughheneededrebuildingbecauseitisabsurdtohavewomenfallinginlovewithamachine.
