TheAISCLoadandResistanceFactorDesign(LRFD)SpecificationforStructuralSteelBuildingsisintendedtocoverthecommondesigncriteriainroutineofficepractice.Accord-ingly,itisnotfeasibletoalsocoverthemanyspecialanduniqueproblemsencounteredwithinthefullrangeofstructuraldesignpractice.ThisAISCLoadandResistanceFactorDesignSpecificationforSteelHollowStructuralSectionsisaseparatedocumentthataddressesonesuchtopic:
thedesignandconstructionofbuildingsystemsthatutilizesteelhollowstruc-turalsections(HSS).AlistofSymbolsandanon-mandatoryCommentarywithbackgroundinformationareprovided.
