ThisformistobeutilizedbyHDCPadopterswishingtohavetheirproductstestedbyanHDCPAuthorizedTestCenter（ATC）.The“ApplicantContactInformation”and“ProductCapabilityParameter”sectionsmustbefilledoutintheirentiretytoensureaccuratetestreports.Uponcompletion,thisformandtestlogfilesshallbereturnedtotheadopterandacopyretainedbytheDigitalContentProtection,LLCandtheATC.

TheCompliancetestisintendedasanaidtothecorrectimplementationoftheComplianceRulesforhardwareandsoftwareimplementationsoftheHDCPSpecificationinaLicensedProduct.LicensorstronglyrecommendsthatyoucompletethistestingforeachhardwaremodelorsoftwareversionofaLicensedProductbeforereleasinganyproductandatasufficientlyearlydateindesign,aswellasduringproduction,toavoidproductcomplianceredesigndelays.ThetestingdoesnotaddressallrequirementsnecessarytocreateaproductthatisCompliant.FailuretoperformthetestsandanalysisnecessarytocomplyfullywiththeHDCPSpecification,ComplianceRulesorRobustnessRulescouldresultinabreachoftheHDCPLicenseAgreementandappropriatelegalactionofLicensorandEligibleContentParticipants.

Successfulcompletionofalltestsforagiventypeofdevicedoesnotearnorimply,directlyorindirectly,anycertification,endorsementorotherstatementoffitnessforusebytheDCP,LLC.TestresultsandreportsarefortheinformationofthelicenseeandintendedsolelyasanaidtohelpdetermineiftheirimplementationmeetstherequirementsoftheCompliancerulesinthelicenseagreement.

DisputesarisinginconnectionwithHDCPComplianceTestingregardingPassorFailoutcomesasperformedbyanAuthorizedTestCentershouldbecommunicatedtotheDCPLLCHDCPLab,hdcplab@vtm-,within30daysoftheinitialtesting.TheLabwillexaminethereportsandfilesandmayrequestthattheDUTinquestionbesubmittedtotheLabforfurthertesting.ThedecisionsoftheLabwithregardtoanappealofPassorFailoutcomeswillbefinal.ApplicantagreesthatalltestlogsandotherrecordsmaybesenttoDCPLLCHDCPLabbyanyATConrequest.
