Inthelate1860s,acreativeengineernamedJohnA.RoeblingwasinspiredbyanideatobuildabridgeconnectingNewYorkwithLongIsland.However,bridgebuildingexpertsthroughouttheworldthoughtthatthiswasimpossible.
