IV四类从句:
一、主语从句:
作句子主语的从句叫主语•从句
Thatknowledgeispowerisknowntoall.
注意:
1)that引导的主语从句,只起连接句子的作用,本身没有词义,不作成分但不能省略。
2)whether引导主语从句时,表示主语从句意义的不确定性,但有词义,作“是否”讲。
—般来说,已确定的事情由that引导,没有确定的事情用whether引导。
%1.宾语从句
1)宾语从句常出现在及物动词或介词之后,有时出现在be+adj.之后
Iwanttoknowwhetherhewillattendthemeeting.
JiaoYulualwaysthought#howhecoulddomoreforthesocietyandthepeople.
I'
mafraidthatIhavemadeamistake.我忍历犯了一个错误。
2)that引导宾语从句通常可省。
但若有几个宾语从句并列时,只有第一个that可省。

常放在系动词be,look,seem,appear,remain等之后,在句子中作表语的从句叫表语从句
常见句型:

④This/thatisbecause・・・这是/那是因为
This/Thatiswhy...这就是/那就是为什么…

他们工作很努力,这是因为他们知道自己为什么而工作。
Theywereshortofexperience.Thatwaswhytheyhadtolearnfrompracticedworkers
他们缺少经验,这就是为什么它们必须向有经验的工人学习(的原因)。
四.同位语从句
跟在抽象名词idea,news,fact,promise,hope,thought,belief,order,suggestion,plan,doubt,explanation,answer,chance等之后,用来表示名词所表示的具体内容c连接词that(常考);
whether只起引导作用,在从句中不作任何成分,不能省略。
另外也可用where,when,how等词引导。
that引导的同位语从句与that引导的定语从句
1)同位语修饰抽象名词,定语从句无限制
2)名词放回句中作成分为定语从句,不能放回句中作成分为同位语从句

2)it作形式宾语,常用在think/consider/make/find/feel/take+it+adj.\n.+that\todosth句式中

2.和suggest这类词有关的从句谓语动词需用shoulddo
动词一坚持insist二命令order,command四建议suggest,advise,propose,
recommend五要求ask,demand,request,require,desire
后面的宾语从句要用虚拟语气thatsb(should)dosth
当这类动词转化成名词引导主语从句,表语从句,同为语从句时从句中动词也用虚拟语气eg.Isuggestthathe(should)goabroadforfurtherstudy.
Igivehimasuggestionthathegoabroadforfurtherstudy.
Mysuggestionisthathegoabroadfor....
3.连接代词whoever,whatever
1)引导名词性从句
whoever=anyonewho(后的谓语用单数)
whatever=anythingthat
Whoeverbreaksthelawshouldbepunished.
Whateverwedomustbeintheinterestsofthepeople.
2)引导让步状语从句,相当于nomatter+who/what
Whateveryoudo,whereveryougo,Iwillberightherewaitingforyou.
4.辨析who与whoever
vvhoever=anyonewho,中心词为anyone,而who引导名词性从句是主语从句表示的这件事作主语。
Whowillgiveusatalkisunknown.
Whoever(=anyonewho)breaksthelawshouldbepunished.
5.辨析that/what
1)that引导名词性从句,只起连接句子的作用,本身没有词义,不作成分但不能省略。
*that引导宾语从句通常可省。
2)what引导名词性从句,在句中作主语,宾语,定语,表语
3)all(that)=what
eg.Toahighlyimaginativewriter,allthat(what)isrequiredisapieceofpaperandapen.
6.辨析“是否"
whether/if
只用whether不用if的情况
1)引导的从句位于句首时
2)引导表语从句
3)作介词的宾语
4)后接不定式
5)和ornot连用构成whetherornot结构
和or连用,表示无论…还是,不管…还是,是…还是
