Leadershipisoneoftheimportantpillarstoforacompanytoestablishaknowledgemanagementsystem.Companywithgoodleadershiphasalargerchanceofachievingsuccessfulknowledgemanagement.However,severalleadershipissuesinBobCobecomestumblingblocksforittodevelopaknowledgemanagementsystemandachievesuccessfulknowledgemanagement.
Failureofsharingknowledgecultureestablishment

Tosolvetheseleadershipissues,thefirstthingthatBobConeedtodoisraisingitsmanagers’awarenessoftheimportanceofimplementingaknowledgemanagementsystem.Managersshouldbeencouragedtocreateaorganizationalcultureofsharingknowledge.AsCrawford(2003)pointedoutthat“leadersplayacrucialroleinbuildingandmaintaininganorganizationalcultureoflearning.”Managersareresponsibleforestablishingaculturethatrespectsknowledgeandadvocatesknowledgesharing(Stonehouse&
Pemberton,1999).ManagersinBobCoalsoshouldmakeclearstrategicplanning.Forexample,careerprogramforconsultantsinBobCoshouldbeimplemented.Thiscareerprogramcanprovideconsultantswithworktrainingthattheyneed.Managersofthoseconsultantsareresponsibletocollectconsultant’sworkreportandmakeworktrainingplanforeachconsultantsinthecompany.Therefore,consultants’workexperienceandtacitknowledgecanbecollectedandusedbythecompanythroughthisprogram.Notonlythat,suchacareerprogramalsocanmotivateconsultantstoworkharderandincreasetheirloyaltytothecompany.

managers,andthereforeitcanadvocatetheknowledgesharingandcreationthroughthe
