Pre-reading
这部分是主阅读的延伸,故在引入环节可以采用复习手段,既能加深学生对本章节主题的理解,又能很自然过渡到对课文的阅读。
要求学生思考两个问题:

这是本课的主体部分,也是老师要处理的重点,既要引导学生学习重点词汇和句型,又要提高学生的阅读理解能力,培养学生的阅读技巧。
●要求学生带着问题快速通读全文,了解文章大意。
●要求学生分段阅读,针对各段采用提问,完成表格等不同手段进一步理解课文,然后总结段落大意,掌握文章的篇章结构。
完成A2中的练习。
●培养学生猜词能力。
在阅读的过程中,要求学生根句上下文,推测新单词的词意。
完成课本第54页A1中的练习。

这是课文的拓展部分,对本部分的处理,建议分为两快。
●要求学生根据自己生活经验来描述自己种植某种植物的经历。
●要求学生四人或五人为一小组,课后进行网上调查或实地考查后介绍当地某个植物园或学校里的生物角,然后全班交流。

一、章节分析
本章节主要语法---形容词和副词的比较结构在牛津英语中出现两次:
本课和高二(上)第二课。
本课主要介绍副词的比较结构;
高二(上)第二课主要介绍一些不规则的形容词和副词的比较级和最高级形式,复习as…as结构,并且补充了一些修饰比较结构的副词,如,abit,much,alittle,alot,rather,far。
故本课不仅要介绍课本上副词的比较机构,还应适量扩展形容词和副词的用法。
(二)目标
学习形容词和副词的比较结构。
口语情景教学法(教师创设情景,学生主要通过口语训练达到对语言知识的掌握)
1简单总结一些形容词和副词的比较级和最高级不规则变化形式。
2细讲比较结构和句型。
3把比较级和最高级结构运用于实际生活中。

●让学生找出课文中含有比较结构的句子,分析比较它们的不同点,引出正题:

●教师列出学生熟悉的两样或三样以上活动或事物,如:

aplane/atrain,akangarooandatortoise等,用比较结构比较两样事物或活动。
●从报纸或杂志上收集一些同类品牌汽车广告、旅游景点等信息,让学生用比较结构分析说明自己的选择,并编一个对话,向朋友推荐该汽车或旅游景点。
●用比较结构翻译句子。
